After years of conflict and soaring food prices, many of displaced Syrian families are unable to buy even basic necessities. Many people go to bed hungry, trying find enough food to break their fast during Ramadan.

The Prophet (PBUH) said, "Whoever gives iftar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest." (Al-Tirmidhi)
