Ensuring Water Access in Yemen Mosques

Due to the current humanitarian catastrophe, many mosques in Yemen do not have access to clean, safe water. This makes it difficult for worshipers to complete ablution (wudu) and maintain hygiene, both of which are essential components of prayer.

Human Appeal. Yemen's Sadaqah Jariyah - Water Tanks for Yemeni Mosques initiative meets this demand by building 50 water tanks in mosques, supplying clean water to nearly 25,000 people during prayer hours.

Why Your Help Matters

Yemen is one of the world's most severe humanitarian crises. With 20.7 million people in need of aid, a lack of basic infrastructure has left many communities, including mosques, unable to provide basic necessities such as water access. By donating to this initiative, you will contribute to:

  • Reliable Water Access: Ensure that mosques can store and supply water to people during prayer hours.
  • Improved Hygiene: Promoting good health and sanitation in mosque communities.
  • A Continuous Blessing: Supporting a Sadaqah Jariyah initiative that will benefit future generations.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

"The best charity is giving water to drink."
