Ramadan Reflection #28: Resolving Conflicts

Conflict Resolution Among Believers: Handling Disputes with Patience and Wisdom

Abdullah ibn Ubayy, the head of the hypocrites in Medina, was always trying to stir up trouble. One day, when the Prophet (SAW) was riding his donkey, Duldul, and it urinated, Abdullah ibn Ubayy complained about it. This sparked a confrontation, with Abdullah ibn Rawaha defending the Prophet (SAW) and saying that the donkey’s urine was more blessed than Abdullah ibn Ubayy’s musk. A small dispute broke out, but the Prophet (SAW) intervened to restore peace. Allah then revealed guidance on how to resolve conflicts between believers.
